The Lakeview

My niece Sam reported on the poutine at The Lakeview in Toronto. The iconic Lakeview Lunch, at Dundas and Ossington closed last year and reopened as simply The Lakeview.
While there Sam tried what she called "a crazy rich" concotion that featured regular and sweet potato fries, covered with bacon, mushrooms, and cheese, and lathered in "heavy gravy."
I asked her what she thought of it and she said, "Next time I'll go traditional. It was a bit nutty and crazy rich. I think I could only do it at 1 a.m., with a g and t!"
Ahh to be in your twenties again, eh? Thanks Sam.

Don't know if in Canada you get a dating reality show called The Bachelor, but they had an episode where Poutine from Madawaska, Maine was served.
