In the heart of Alexandria, in a nondescript outdoor mall is AJ's BBQ Steakhouse (which, up to a few weeks ago, was coincidentally, right beside the local Curves outlet).

We approached the menu with great hope. An entire page devoted to poutine called Poutine Town. Yippee!

We decided to order a large "traditional" poutine. It was large, the gravy very tasty with a bit of spice to it but one of the biggest disappointments was NO CURDS! And here in curd country, with St. Albert just a drive down the road.

All in all, the fries stood up to the gravy but the shredded mozzarella is unforgivable. 2.5 out of 5 possible curds.
